• 5 Luxury Safari Tents
  • Lalibela Game Reserve
  • Exceptional Big Five viewing
  • Award Winning & Excellent Rated

Tree Tops Safari Lodge differs from our other lodges in that it is a tented camp. The luxury safari tents perched high on thatched platforms at “tree top” level are joined by raised walkways and offer spectacular views over the thickly-wooded valley.

The en-suite rooms, with their canvas walls and thatched roofs, have huge window areas and give guests the feeling of being right in the bush. Each room has a private veranda where guests can sit and relax in privacy.

As with our other lodges, Tree Tops Safari Lodge has a large lounge and open-air dining deck with a view over a small waterhole. Guests can sunbathe around the swimming pool or relax in the shaded gazebo.

Special care and consideration were taken during the construction of Tree Tops to minimise the impact on the pristine vegetation in the valley.

    “Fantastic experience”

We stayed at Tree Tops for 3 nights and had a great time. The staff were very friendly and our ranger CeCe was very knowledgeable and managed to find all the animals we hoped to see. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was really great, too much, we were a few pounds heavier when we left camp!! I would recommend this to anyone, it was certainly an experience that was more than we could have hoped for.

    “Our wonderful stay at Lalibela”

We stayed two nights at the Tree Tops and were actually the only two guests for one night. We had the awesome Ranger to ourselves who was so knowledgeable about all animal/bird/plant life. The room was clean and comfortable with heated bed toppers in case you got cold. The staff was amazing and the food great. Being our 33rd anniversary, we were surprised by a picnic lunch during one of the drives, with a table set for 2 with a white table cloth, quiche, fruit, breads, cheese and wine. The owner and staff went above and beyond to find the perfect spot. We’ll never forget it or be able to thank them enough for making our visit so memorable. Thanks so much Brian, Julie, Siya and Netty.

    “What a amazing experience!”

We stayed in Tree Top’s Safari Lodge for three nights. Rooms were clean, spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities. It was still chilly outside in the morning and at night time but the rooms were well heated and warm electronic blanket induced a good quality of sleep. Foods were delicious and nice wines/alcohols were served during the meal and at the bar corner. Safari driving were really fun and we were able to see many kinds of animals. But what impressed us most was staff’s hospitality. Every staff were very friendly and offered us “high standard service”, which made our stay in the Lalibela unforgettable. Thank you.

    “My first game reserve”

I can’t fault the Treetops Lodge at Lalibela. The service from the lodge manager, to ranger, to staff to housekeeping was outstanding!
They made us feel special when it was just the two of us that first evening at the lodge by laying a lovely candle-lit table for two. Service at the restaurant was attentive and yet discreet. The food was delicious, full of flavour and not once repeated the three days we were there. The ranger was knowledgeable and passionate about both flora and fauna and a fantastic driver as he took us to places that were tough on the four-wheel drive.
It was recommended to us by my sister-in-law and I in turned recommended it to my sisters. It is fantastic value for money.
