“Pumba Bush Lodge experience”
From start to finish the experience at Pumba was amazing !!!
All the staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble for them they arranged night drives and a walking safari for us and both were well worth the extra.
We stayed in the Bush lodge the rooms were spotless and by far one of the best places we have ever stayed in.
our guide Thomas managed to find us 4 out of the big 5 along with many other animals and gave us an experience we will never forget and we can’t thank him enough.
All in all, you receive a 5-star service and experience at puma and we are already looking to return.
“The highlight of our trip to South Africa”
We stayed for 3 nights in bush lodge K ( having been advised it was the best room in the house – the animals can often be viewed at close range from the room’s deck) The main Lodge and our room were luxuriously furnished, high ceiling thatched with four poster bed and glass walls, indoor and outdoor shower, bath with a view and a plunge pool overlooking the plain to the hills behind, all very private It was quite cool when we were there so the wood burner was lit for us and hot water bottles placed in our beds.
The game drives- all 6 were amazing and Dean our ranger was a font of all knowledge on the animals and birds we encountered, a total wildlife enthusiast
The food was of a very high standard and beautifully presented, all staff were charming and exceptionally helpful. Our stay was fabulous.
We stayed at Pumba Bush Lodge for 3 nights in mid-March. Everything about our stay was exceptional, the accommodation, the food, the staff and the game drives. The only thing we didn’t see was a leopard but we got remarkably close to lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos and giraffes. Lots of wildlife too, including elephants, at the waterhole in front of the lodges. Justin, our ranger, was entertaining and informative. I managed to lose my phone on a game drive and the staff could not have been more helpful in finding it in the bush (quite amazing in itself!) and then sending it on by courier. a fantastic place and highly recommended.~ Robert M ~ North Yorkshire
“Fabulous stay at Pumba”
We stayed in the Bush Lodges – Room I. Fantastic room overlooking one of the watering holes – which attracted elephants, giraffes, monkeys! Loved our time here and didn’t want to leave. Fascinating and awesome drives with the amazingly knowledgeable & friendly Neale. We stayed 2 nights and in hindsight, we should have booked at least 3. The food was great. There are activities to do in between drives or if you want to just chill on your deck in the plunge pool, you can watch the animals – including the cheeky monkeys who love to steal the sugar from the restaurant! Thanks for a fabulous stay and some unforgettable drives!~ VicD72 ~ Newton Le Willows, United Kingdom
